We’ve been using it for picnics and it’s seriously soft on top while staying dry underneath, even after a surprise drizzle. The fold-up design is so easy to carry that I just toss it in the trunk without thinking. Honestly my only wish is that I’d bought it sooner.
We brought this to a windy beach and the water-resistant layers kept the sand and dampness off our stuff completely. The softness on top is real, not that scratchy nylon you usually get, and folding it back into the carry strap took me less than a minute.
